Sportsbooks, exchanges & leagues we cover
SmartStake pulls odds from 70+ sportsbooks, betting exchanges, prediction markets, and DFS sites across roughly 36 active leagues spanning major sports and esports.
What SmartStake connects to
SmartStake reads odds from 70+ sportsbooks, exchanges & DFS sites and organises them into four source types. Each type plays a different role in the tools.
Sportsbooks
The majority of sources are traditional sportsbooks — the books where you hold accounts and place bets. These are the prices the Positive EV and Arbitrage tools compare against the fair no-vig price. Having accounts spread across many books is the practical foundation of line shopping: the wider your coverage, the more opportunities you can actually act on. The full book list is available to Premium subscribers; without a subscription you see a limited subset. See Choosing your sportsbooks for guidance on which books matter most for each tool.
A subset of sportsbooks are designated sharp books — the nine books whose lines SmartStake trusts most when computing the fair no-vig price. Sharp books are not just places to bet; they are the benchmark that makes every EV and arbitrage calculation meaningful. For a full explanation, see Sharp books & why they're the benchmark.
Betting exchanges
SmartStake tracks order-book depth across 6 betting exchanges. Unlike a sportsbook, an exchange matches bettors against each other, so the volume and price at each side of the book reflects genuine market activity rather than a book setting a line. This depth data is the raw signal behind the Smart Money tool: when exchange liquidity moves sharply on one side, that is the signal Smart Money surfaces. The default liquidity floor is $200 — bets with less depth than that threshold are filtered out before the signal is computed.
Prediction markets
Polymarket and Kalshi are prediction markets where participants trade on event outcomes using real money. SmartStake tracks qualified wallets on these platforms and uses their trading history to populate the Insiders feed. A wallet qualifies when it meets a minimum activity bar — at least 200 sports markets traded, a positive ROI, and an arbitrage ratio that rules out pure cross-market hedging — so the feed reflects wallets with a genuine track record, not random accounts.
DFS pick'em sites
DFS pick'em sites let you build multi-leg slips (Power and Flex) on player props rather than game outcomes. SmartStake's Fantasy optimizer prices each leg against the same fair-value math the rest of the tools use, making it possible to find pick'em slips where the combined payout exceeds the fair probability of hitting. The DFS sites covered include PrizePicks, Underdog Fantasy, Betr, Dabble, DraftKings Pick6, Splash Sports, and Bleacher Nation Pick6, among others.
Premium unlocks the full list
Without a subscription you can access a limited set of books. A Premium subscription unlocks the complete 70+ source list, one-click bet links, live odds, and the Smart Money, Insiders, and Fantasy tools. See Free vs Premium for the full breakdown.
Leagues we cover
SmartStake covers approximately 36 active leagues across major sports and esports. The league list is drawn from a live database and changes as seasons open and close, so not every league appears year-round.
American sports
The core of the coverage is North American professional and college sport: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAAF, NCAAB, WNBA, and MLS. These leagues have the deepest book coverage and the most liquid exchange markets, which means sharper fair prices and more opportunities across all the tools.
Soccer
Coverage extends across the major European competitions — the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, and Ligue 1 — as well as international competitions and additional domestic leagues. The exact set active at any moment reflects which competitions are in season.
Other sports
Tennis (ATP and WTA), MMA (UFC and others), and boxing round out the coverage alongside the North American and soccer leagues.
Esports
SmartStake covers esports markets including CS2, Valorant, League of Legends, Dota 2, and related tournaments. Exchange and prediction-market coverage for esports is thinner than for major North American sports, so Smart Money and Insiders signals are less common in this category.
- Odds, prices, expected value, conversion rates, and profit figures shown are estimates based on the last data we retrieved. They can change at any time — confirm the current price at the book before you bet, as odds may move and entry errors can occur.
- Using a “sharp” book as a fair-value reference is a modeling choice, not a statement of accuracy. Review a book’s record yourself and anchor on the books you trust.
