Saved filters & filter alerts
Save a filter configuration on any tool and get push notifications whenever new bets match it. You can keep up to five alert-enabled saved filters per tool.
What saved filters are
Every tool in SmartStake has a filter panel where you can narrow the feed by sportsbook, sport, market type, minimum edge, and other criteria. Once you have dialled in a combination you want to reuse, you can give it a name and save it. That saved filter is then available from the Saved tab in the filter panel, ready to apply in one step whenever you return to the tool.
Saved filters are per-tool. A filter saved on the Positive EV tool is not shared with the Arbitrage Finder, and vice versa.
Saving a filter
Open the filter panel on any tool and adjust the controls until the feed shows what you want. When the configuration is different from the last saved state, a Save button appears in the footer of the panel. Clicking it opens a dialog where you name the filter and choose two optional settings:
- Set as default — makes this filter the one that loads automatically the next time you open the tool. Only one saved filter can be the default at a time; setting a new default clears the previous one.
- Get real-time notifications — when enabled, SmartStake watches for new bets that match this filter's criteria and pushes an alert to your devices as they appear. This toggle is only available on tools that support alerts (Positive EV and Arbitrage Finder).
If you are already working from a saved filter and modify it, the save dialog gives you the choice to update the existing filter in place or save the changes as a new one.
What an alert delivers
When a new bet matches a saved filter with notifications turned on, SmartStake sends a push notification to every device where you have push notifications enabled. On web browsers the notification appears as a browser push alert; on iOS it appears as an app notification. The title tells you what your filter found (the EV percentage and sportsbook, or the arb percentage), and the body carries the match itself: the game, the market, the league, and a "+N more" count when several bets matched in quick succession.
Tapping or clicking the notification opens the tool with that saved filter applied and a detail card for the matching bet. This works even if the app is already open - the saved filter from the notification replaces whatever filter settings you currently have on screen, so what you see matches what the alert found.
The notification is generated server-side, matching the same criteria stored in the saved filter — book selection, league, market type, minimum edge or arb value, and any other conditions you set. For a bet on the Positive EV tool, the alert also re-devigs using the sharp books and devig mode from your saved filter, so what you receive matches what you would see on screen with those settings applied.

Five-filter limit
You can enable notifications on up to five saved filters per tool. If you have already reached the limit and try to turn on a sixth, the toggle will be disabled. To free a slot, turn off notifications on an existing saved filter from the Saved tab.
Managing saved filters
All your saved filters for a tool appear on the Saved tab inside the filter panel. Each card shows the filter name and a summary of its non-default settings. From the card you can:
- Apply the filter to the current view.
- Toggle notifications on or off (Positive EV and Arbitrage Finder only).
- Rename or remove the filter from the overflow menu.
- Set it as your default via the overflow menu.
Changes to the notification toggle take effect immediately. Renaming and deletion are also instant, with optimistic updates in the UI.
