One-click add & quick-add
How clicking the odds on any bet card opens the sportsbook and records a wager in your tracker in a single motion, with an undo-able toast confirmation.
What one-click add does
Every bet card in SmartStake shows a clickable odds button that links out to the sportsbook. When you click that odds link, two things happen at once: your browser opens the sportsbook's bet slip, and SmartStake triggers the quick-add flow to record the wager in your Bet Tracker. You do not have to fill in a form or return to SmartStake to log what you just bet.
This removes the main friction of manual tracking. Without quick-add, you would need to open the bet tracker, choose the right tool and market, enter the stake and odds, and save — after already placing the bet at the book. With quick-add, the record appears the moment you click through.
The quick-add toast
When the odds link is clicked, a toast notification appears at the bottom of the screen. It shows the sportsbook icon, a summary line with the stake and odds, and two controls:
- Edit (pencil icon) — dismisses the toast and opens the full bet-entry form pre-filled with the wager details, where you can adjust any field before saving.
- Confirm (arrow icon) — saves the wager immediately with the pre-filled values.
The toast stays visible for several seconds. If you take no action it dismisses on its own without saving anything, so accidental clicks do not create phantom records.
Once you confirm, a second success toast replaces it with the message "Added to your tracker!" and a shortcut arrow to navigate directly to the Bet Tracker.
Stake required to confirm
The confirm button is disabled if no stake is pre-filled. Quick-add calculates a suggested stake from your bankroll and Kelly settings. If those are not set, the edit path opens the full form so you can enter a stake manually.
How the stake is pre-filled
Quick-add does not ask you to enter a stake at the moment of clicking. Instead, it reads the bankroll and Kelly multiplier you have configured in Settings and computes a suggested stake from them — the same Kelly-scaled amount the tool would show you in the full bet form. If the computed stake is zero (for example, because no bankroll is set), the confirm button is disabled and the edit path is the only way to save.
For parlays built in the Positive EV parlay builder, the quick-add summary shows the combined odds, leg count, and recommended stake for the slip as a whole. The flow is the same — one click to book and one to confirm the tracker entry.
Editing before saving
If you want to change the stake, add notes, or review the bet details before committing, click the pencil icon on the toast. This opens the full adding and editing bets form pre-filled with the wager data from the card. You can edit any field and then save normally. The quick-add toast is dismissed the moment you open the edit form.
Which tools support quick-add
Quick-add is triggered from the odds link on bet cards across all of SmartStake's bet tools: Positive EV (single bets and the parlay builder), Smart Money, and Insiders. The linked odds button opens the sportsbook and fires the toast regardless of whether you are on desktop or mobile.
