Props and alternates
Player props, team totals, period markets and full alternate ladders arrive inline with the main lines, each flagged so you can keep or drop them.
Pregame and live
In-play prices travel on the same stream and the same schema as pregame, with a flag on every quote.
Bet links by location
Pass a state or province and a device, and each quote carries a link that opens that selection on the right regional site or in the book’s app.
Stake limits
Where a book or exchange publishes the largest stake it will take, the quote carries it.
Stable ids
Events, players, teams and markets keep one id across every book, and every quote has an id you can match a removal against.
American or decimal
Choose the price format per request. Times are ISO 8601 or epoch milliseconds, never a book’s local format.

How do I get access?

The API is in early access. Apply with a few lines about what you are building, and we send a key by email. Early access is free, and early-access members get founder pricing when paid plans launch.

How do you measure delivery speed?

A change reaches a connected client about a quarter of a second after it lands on our board, averaged over the 7 days to 13 October 2026. Changes are sent in batches every 250 milliseconds. This measures board-to-client delivery; how quickly a price reaches our board differs by book. The polling comparison uses an average wait of half the polling interval: 30 seconds for a 60-second interval and 5 seconds for a 10-second interval.

Which books and leagues are included?

85+ sportsbooks, sharp books, exchanges, prediction markets and pick’em apps, across football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, tennis and MMA. Your key lists exactly what it can see at /v1/books and /v1/leagues.

Can I show the data to my own users?

Early access keys are for your own use. A commercial licence covers showing prices and your own calculations to the members of your product. Write to info@smartstake.ca and tell us what you are building.

Is there historical data?

Not yet. The API serves the board as it stands now and every change from the moment you connect. Closing lines and final scores are the next additions.

What are the limits?

Each key can hold 7 streams open and make 120 requests a minute, with league snapshots limited to 10 pages a minute. Limits can be raised for commercial use.
