Fantasy Alerts are here, plus Odds books and hockey

When we shipped Fantasy 2.0, we said alerts were next. They're here. A few smaller things came with them, and hockey is back just in time.

Fantasy Alerts

You no longer need to keep the board open to know when a slip is worth building. A Fantasy Alert watches one slip on your platform, say a PrizePicks 5 Pick Flex, and pings you when enough picks clear its breakeven.

You decide how many is enough, from one pick up to the whole slip. Each alert follows a filter: our built-in Recommended filter, or one of your saved Fantasy filters. Edit the filter later and the alert follows along.

Tap the notification and the board opens on that platform and slip, with the best picks already in your slip. Picks that left the board since the alert are skipped.

Open the bell on the Fantasy board to set one up. You can hold 2 Fantasy Alerts with a Fantasy or Premium plan. See Saved filters and alerts for the details, and Push notifications to turn on push for your phone.

Sleeper, Chalkboard, Boom Fantasy and ParlayPlay

Most pick'em apps pay a fixed table. These four price each pick on their own instead, so the question isn't whether a pick clears a breakeven, it's whether it's worth the price.

Fantasy now answers that. Pick one of them under Odds in the platform list, and the board shows each pick's price and its EV, ranked best first. Only picks with a positive EV make the board.

Both models work as usual. Default uses the SmartStake Line, so a Sleeper pick shows the same fair value as the same pick on PrizePicks. Custom uses your own books. Add picks to a parlay slip to see the slip's combined price, probability and EV, and track it in the Bet Tracker under Fantasy.

Alerts on Positive EV and Arbitrage

Positive EV and the Arbitrage Finder have a bell of their own now, beside the settings button. Pick a saved filter and you'll hear about every bet that matches it. Pause one when you need a break, and resume it when you're back. You can hold 5 alerts on each tool.

What's new, in the app

There's a new bell in the app too: the Notification Center. Its What's new tab lists our latest updates, this one included, and a green dot tells you when there's something you haven't read.
